I laughed out loud when I read his rebuttal to Norem’s criticisms. May I present Teaching pessimisim: a class by Woody Allen.

LIFE SUX 101.

What would the syllabus look like?
Class 1: Don’t worry, you’re screwed.
Class 2: Why your dog hates you
Class 3: Frowning is better than no face at all. Just kidding it sucks, too.
Class 4: Signature Vices: how to get the least (from your worst)
Class 5: How to bitch about your job.
Class 6: Intro to Suicide How not to kill yourself: you’ll just mess it up anyway.
Class 7: Boo-Hoo. How to whine for what you want.
Class 8: How to work for a Jerk.
Class 9: Relax. Life is much worse than you think.
CAPSTONE PROJECT: A Waste of time ‘cuz when you die you rot. Deal with it.
