Tal Ben Shahar on Diane Rehm show - Author of Happier -
This was a very interesting interview with the Harvard professor who teaches a very large class on positive psychology combining academic rigor with experiential learning. He has a new book out — Happier: Learn the secrets to daily joy and lasting fulfillment.
He gave an outstanding lecture at last year’s Positive Psychology Summit, and this interview was thoughtful and interesting.

Are there any colleges closer to florida that offer the Masters of applied positive psychology. Can I take a course online?
Hi Sharon, as far as I know, the MAPP is only offered at UPenn as a one-year program meeting a few days a month, and in the UK at the University of East London as a two-year program meeting one-two days a month. Best, S.
p.s. I don’t yet know of any courses online in positive psychology that go towards a masters degree although there are some offered by my colleagues and professors that teach about positive psychology.
Here are some online course sources:
The Virtual Happiness Club (free)
Ben Dean and Coaching Towards Happiness
Caroline Miller and Michael Frisch QOLTC
Kathryn Britton may be offering some - stay tuned
