Hi Senia,

Thanks for a great report from the Appreciative Inquiry Conference! Your summary is valuable to all those who were not able to attend. And it serves as a great review for all of us who were there. Day One of the conference was tremendous: David, Marcus, and Martin were all excellent!

It was great seeing you there as "official press" for the Positive Psychology News Daily team!

Thanks Senia!

Hi Dave, Margaret, Nick, thank you for the comments.

Dave, tomorrow's article will be neat - I got home too late to write it tonight - It'll be on Barbara Fredrickson's work and how a yogi sees the same work although going back further in time.

Margaret, you are like Hermione!

Nick, that quote is truly great, and that world inquiry is a major project - very interesting to me as well.

Best,
Senia

I can't wait to read more about this conference. AI is something I have known very little about, and it is good to be learning more. It really is a great application of our underlying human psychology - our positive psychology - within groups.

Thanks for the link to the "World Inquiry" page at the CWU business school site. I had NO IDEA that there was such a thing as the "Center for Business as an Agent for World Benefit!" Fascinating!! I'll have to read more about what that's all about.

I love this quote, it's great -
“The task of leadership is to create an alignment of strengths in ways that make a system’s weaknesses irrelevant.” ~ Peter Drucker

Senia - thank you for sharing the highlights from Day 1! I'm in CA facilitating an off-site the next couple of days -- your summary makes me feel like I can be in two places at the same time :) Warm regards, Margaret
